Live Monitoring

Welcome to the Delaware City Refining Company (DCRC) Fenceline Monitoring Portal

This public monitoring system provides continuous fence-line VOC readings from sensors stationed around the Delaware City Refining Company. Free access for all community members.

How It Works

1

Continuous Monitoring

Five sensor stations positioned around the refinery perimeter measure non-methane hydrocarbon (NMHC) levels every 5 minutes, 24 hours a day.

2

Data Analysis

Readings are processed with 5-minute and 1-hour averaging periods. Meteorological data including wind speed and direction is captured alongside each reading.

3

Public Alerts

When VOC levels exceed 730 ppb, the system automatically sends email alerts to subscribers. Monthly reports are generated for the public record.

Features

Interactive Map
Color-coded sensor markers on a satellite map showing real-time VOC levels at each station. Green (< 500 ppb), yellow (500–730 ppb), or red (> 730 ppb) at a glance.
Real-Time Dashboard
Live readings with 5-minute and 1-hour averaging for every station. Track current conditions, see trend arrows, and monitor wind data — all in one view.
Instant Alerts
Automatic email notifications when VOC levels exceed 730 ppb or when a sensor goes offline. Smart deduplication so you only get notified when it matters.
Reports & History
Historical trend charts with 24-hour, 7-day, and 30-day views. Automated PDF reports generated daily, weekly, and monthly — downloadable anytime.

Notifications

VOC (NMHC) & SO₂ Exceedance

Immediate alert when any station's 1-hr block average exceeds 730 ppb VOC (NMHC) or 75 ppb SO₂.

Instrument Outage

Get notified when a sensor station goes offline or stops reporting, so you know if there's a gap in coverage.

Report Available

Notification when a new daily, weekly, or monthly report has been generated and is ready for download.
